On this Christmas Eve eve…

I want to share with you a little gift from me to you…a recipe for my favorite Cruzan Christmas Drink! I invented this myself (or at least if there was a drink like it before, I was unaware of it).

Pour yourself about 8 ounces of milk (I use fat free but any kind would work well) and add a shot (about 2 ounces) of Cruzan Rum Cream. Not heard of Cruzan Rum Cream? It is heaven! If you love Bailey’s, I think rum cream is about 100% better. Then add a splash of peppermint schnapps – don’t overdo this – too much can kill the drink). I call this “Christmas in a Cup” and drink it every holiday season.

Like the bouquet in the background?! That’s for our wedding tonight on Trunk Bay. Gorgeous, right?!

Speaking of St. John weddings…

Blue Glass Photography sent me these images of our Trunk Bay Wedding last week. Just love them! Large bamboo arch with matching bamboo runner: These photos couldn’t be any prettier. You can’t beat Trunk Bay weddings at sunset. Congrats to Jake & Melissa!

Congrats to Leslie & Jamie!

Leslie & Jamie aren’t exactly an October bride & groom, but they had a beautiful wedding nonetheless! Married at sunset on Trunk Bay…enjoy the sneak peek to your photos!

Congrats to Ric & Lynda!

Ric & Lynda were married on Trunk Bay this past Saturday. One of my absolutely favorite aspects of this wedding? Their gorgeous sunset!!! I shot this with my iPhone in very low light, so it’s a bit grainy, but it was really just a gorgeous night! This post is a part of our October FavoritesContinue Reading

Congrats to Andrew & Alex!

Another post for my “October Favorites” challenge. Andrew & Alex were married on October 2nd on Trunk Bay, St. John. My favorite element of their wedding day? These two photos! Alex is extremely ticklish and it was very hard to get this photo: Because she kept doing this whenever he went to kiss her neck!Continue Reading

No petals, no problem!

St. John has a lot of rules & regulations about what can and cannot be done on the beach. I posted recently about no glass on the beach but another rule is that whatever we wedding planners bring in to decorate must be completely picked up after the wedding or we risk fines and possiblyContinue Reading

Something blue…

I just loved these photos taken by Brooke Anthony of our Simple Island Photography team! The photos are pretty but the shoes are fabulous! They deserve a closer look… That’s what I consider something BLUE! Loved them.

Can you believe this was at night?!

These pictures were taken when it was pretty much dark outside. I felt so bad for this bride & groom! They put so much work into their wedding and then 10 minutes before the ceremony was to start, the skies opened up and it rained for the next hour. Right through sunset. =( We gaveContinue Reading
