I received this email over the weekend from my bride Emily, who was married on St. Thoams on January 19th:

Thank you again for all your hard work with our wedding. Aaron and I were blown away with everything.

I wanted to let you know of an activity my wedding group used on the island that was awesome!!!!! I scheduled yoga at Magen’s Bay with Rachael at brides love yoga (bridesloveyoga.com) and had an awesome experience. I attached a few pictures for you. Rachael was so nice, worked with our budget, and modified poses for beginner yogis. I couldn’t say more great things about it/her.

Just wanted to let you know in case you have some yogis headed to St Thomas interested in yoga on the beach. Talk about relaxing!!!!

What a great way to relax before or even on the wedding day! Definitely check out www.bridesloveyoga.com

This reminded me too of another service I wanted to share. I received this message from Carolyn of Magic Tree Henna:

My name is Carolyn and I am a henna artist in St. John. I am writing you to let you know that I am here! and am currently booking weddings and parties on St. John and St. Thomas for the 2013-2014 season. I would love to doodle up your brides with henna.

Henna is a plant native to deserts in South Asia, the Middle East and North Africa that has been applied to brides for thousands of years to bring good luck and joy to their wedding and marriage. In recent years, the ancient tradition has become popular as a temporary body are in western cultures as well. It’s organic beauty shines on the beach, especially on the feet at a barefoot wedding. It really is a joyful, inspiring art form and an amazing way to get the girls together and relax before a wedding. It celebrates a moment in time and the impermanence of life as it fades away as your skin cells fall off. A typical henna lasts between one and two weeks.

Please check out my website for more information and photos of my work. www.magictreehenna.com

Let me know if you’re interested in booking either of these services for your bridal party!
