I normally do NOT like runners on a beach AT ALL. Most runners are made for a church wedding and are not very wide – just to go down the center of an aisle, not all the way to the edge. So when put on the beach, this is barely enough room for the bride and her escort, so it makes it very awkward to walk on. Not to mention, it is now on a soft surface (sand) and not a solid surface so they wrinkle up horribly. But, my mind just may be changed when it comes to burlap runners. Wide, strong, and very natural looking on a beach setting….check out the photos from a wedding we did last week at Lindquist Beach:
