I have a few important announcements this morning before I run off and coordinate some beautiful beach weddings today! I feel like December is slipping through my fingers and I must get this done!

First, if you read my entry about holiday cards, I wanted to finally announce the prize!

I had so much fun picking it out! I wanted to be mindful of the fact that everyone celebrates the holidays a little different so I didn’t want to just pick out an ornament. This little gem encompasses all celebrations and can be hung on a tree, the walk, a door knob, etc. How do you win this tropical decor? Just send us a Christmas card to:

On January 1st we will randomly draw a card and the winner will receive this in the mail – to be used for January and the next holiday season. 🙂

My 2nd announcement pertains to a charity event that WeddingWire.com is hosting called Love Write Feed. For every single vendor review they receive, they will donate $1 to a family in need. Here is more inforamtion from their site:

WeddingWire is excited to announce our newest charitable endeavor, Love. Write. Feed. For every review an engaged user or newlywed writes about your business, WeddingWire will donate $1 towards a warm meal to feed those in need this holiday season. We invite all newlyweds to review their wedding vendors on WeddingWire – each review we receive through the end of the year will provide an average of 4 meals for a neighbor in need.

The donation will go to one of our food bank partners within the region where the vendor is located. Our donation goal is $10,000 – that amount would mean we’d be able to donate 41,600 meals across our food bank partners! That’s a big number that could really help a lot of people in need during the holidays.

And I’ve made it easy for you if you would like to help! Just click on this button below and it will take you to our review page. But don’t forget your other vendors! Each review will raise $1 so review as many vendors as you can. I know a certain Stuart Scott from USVI Services would appreciate it too! 🙂
