Over the last few years, Lindquist Beach (aka Smith Bay Park) has made many improvements. This beach now has showers, restrooms, parking, paved access, and on busy days, even chair rentals. As a wedding planner, this is kind of unfortunate as our hidden gem of a beach can be very crowded on busy ship days. We no longer recommend this beach when we know there are a lot of ships in port. Due to the improvements, the parks department is now raising the entry fee from $2 per person to $5 per person. This is effective on February 1st. Unfortunately, all weddings after this date will need to pay the new entry fee. Weddings that were already booked are not going to be grandfathered in to the new pricing.
It is an amazing gorgeous beach though, and worth the cost on non-busy days!
